The origin of our species, did we evolve to what we are now or were we created by some all-powerful being in the sky?
I say that Darwin was correct in saying that we evolved to what we are now, but does that mean that some divine being does not exist, no. So what if it was proven that Adam and Eve never existed, does it destroy the entire religion, no. It just makes way for a more rational way of thinking, and also a much more believable story of where we came from, I mean if Adam and Eve did exist then everyone would be related and part of one huge incestuous family. I personally think a god that can create a universe full of planets that constantly evolve and change is much more believable than a god who creates an incestuous family.
So does Darwin's theory destroy religion? no. Does it destroy the possibility of a god or goddess in some cases? no.
(I realise that this is shorter than my usual posts but this could have gone on forever and I just wanted to make a point)
